His Excellency Colonel Eng. Khalid Mohammad Bakalka, Executive Director of Operations, NGHA, Western Region launched today, the 11th of March 2015, the 15th annual Social Service Conference "Techniques of Professional Practice In Social Services" which is organized by King Abdulaziz Medical City in Jeddah and represented by the Social Services Department in collaboration with the Postgraduate Studies and Academic Affairs in KSAU-HS.

The conference will last for two days at the convention Center, Deanship of postgraduate Studies and will host two workshops:

Furthermore, an elite group of local and international speakers in the field of social services will participate in this social scientific conference.

On the other hand, Mr. Abdulaziz Al Harazi, the Associate Executive Director of Operations, NGHA, Western Region and Head of the Organizing Committee, pointed out that the Social Services Section supports and assists patients and their families in adapting and dealing with diagnosis’ pressures and interacting with treatment plans by identifying their needs, in addition to helping them utilize the available health services and resources by providing shelters and transportations to patients in need who are receiving treatment in King Abdulaziz Medical City in Jeddah.

 

It is worth mentioning that this conference is accredited by the Saudi Commission For Health Specialties (SCHS) by 14 CME hours.
