King Abdullah International Medical Research Center - Eastern Region announced yesterday the official winners (for Oral and Poster Presentation) in the just concluded Ministry of National Guard Health Affairs-Eastern Region 3rd Research Day.
The event was held on 1 May 2014 in
King Abdulaziz Hospital, Al-Ahsa and live broadcasted inImam Abdulrahman bin Faisal Hospital, Dammam.
The first place winner for the oral presentation is Mr. Mohammed F. Al-Sulaimani a Medical Intern in the 5th Research Summer School in King Abdullah International Medical Research Center, Ministry of National Guard Health Affairs and his oral presentation was the "Outcome of Metastasectomy in Metastatic Colorectal Cancer".
And in second place Ms. Johanna Greyvenstein. She is a Nurse Manager in the Emergency Department in King Abdulaziz Hospital, Al Ahsa, her oral presentation was titled - "10-Year Analysis of Patients who leave the Emergency Department without being seen: A Study from Al Ahsa"
Moreover, the winner for poster presentation is Mr. Abdullatiff Sami Al Rashed a Medical Student from King Faisal University, Saudi Arabia. His poster presentation was on: "Types of Glaucoma in Al-Ahsa, Saudi Arabia: A Pilot Study".
