The Ministry of National Guard Health Affairs (MNGHA) organized the "Innovation Track Hackathon 2026," held at the Innovation Center at the Digital Government Authority (DGA) on May 10–11, 2026, under the theme "The Future of Emergency Medicine," with the participation of a distinguished group of innovators and individuals interested in advancing healthcare solutions.
The hackathon featured 12 teams competing to develop innovative projects and solutions aimed at addressing challenges within emergency medicine environments, while contributing ideas that enhance the quality and efficiency of healthcare services and promote the adoption of innovation and modern technologies in the healthcare sector.
The closing ceremony was held under the patronage of His Excellency Dr. Bandar Al Knawy, Chief Executive Officer of the Ministry of National Guard Health Affairs, alongside Dr. Abdullah Al Faifi, Vice Governor of Investment and Government Excellence at the Digital Government Authority.
During the ceremony, they commended the outstanding level of the participating projects, highlighting the promising national talents and the innovative, scalable, and impactful ideas presented throughout the event.
At the conclusion of the hackathon, participating entities were honored, and the winning teams were recognized in appreciation of their efforts and contributions toward developing innovative healthcare solutions that support the future of emergency medicine and reflect a culture of collaboration and creativity among national talents.
