On behalf of His Excellency, the Chief Executive Officer of Ministry of National Guard Health Affairs, Dr. Bandar Al Knawy, the Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Saad Al Mohrij, patronized the celebration of the Anesthesia Department at King Abdulaziz Medical City of the Scientific Day for Anesthesia Research on Thursday, December 8, 2022. The occasion included the latest research developments in the Anesthesiology Department and other research related to innovation in anesthesia practice.
The ceremony began with a lecture by Professor Hamdan Al Jahdali, Head of Internal and Pulmonary Medicine Department, entitled (The research stage from an idea to scientific publication), followed by a lecture by Dr. Muhammad Al Harbi, Head of the Anesthesia Department, entitled (latest four medical research papers) from the Department of Anesthesia dealing with new research presented for the first time and will have a quantum leap in the practice of anesthesia locally and globally.
After that, ten medical research papers were submitted by the doctors of the Anesthesia Department, during which the arbitration committee selected the three best medical research papers.
At the end of the ceremony, Dr. Saad Al Mohrij honored the distinguished researches in anesthesia for the first three places.
