World Patient Safety Day​ 2021


In parallel with the World Patient Safety Day of this year 2021, which is held under the theme: “Safe Maternal and Newborn Care”, The Ministry of National Guard Health Affairs organized a campaign with the slogan “Act now for safe and respectful childbirth!” last Thursday, 16th of September across all regions.
Several awareness activities were conducted to emphasize on quality and patient safety.
​Additionally, there was a staff recognition and appreciation segment to honor our hardworking staff within Three different categories:

  • Good Catch of the Year: Awarding the best reported near miss incident with system changes in 2020 - 2021.

  • Top 3 Event Reporters through Safety Reporting System (SRS): Honoring the top incident reporters of each region MNGHA.

  • Top 3 SRS Reporting Departments: Awarding the departments with the highest number of SRS reports among MNGHA.

  • Quality Champions of Clinical and Operations: Recognizing staff who were a great aid in improving quality patient safety in MNGHA in 2020.
