Nine Days After the Successful Separation of Sarah

Nine days after the successful separation of the Syrian parasitic twin, HE Dr. Abdullah Al Rabeeah, Head of the Multidisciplinary Team reported that Sarah is doing extremely well and left the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit 3 days ago to the general pediatric section. Sarah is breathing normally and her vital organs are functioning well and she has not encountered any complications.

 

She has started to bottle feed and is playing with her parents and smiling at everyone around her. Both parents are extremely happy with the outcome.     
 
It is expected that the medical team will remove the genitourinary catheters within one week and there is a possibility of Sarah being discharged from hospital within 2 weeks.
