The Ministry of National Guard Health Affairs, King Abdulaziz Hospital in Al Ahsa have set up an educational exhibition for Alzheimer's disease prepared by a number of students from the Faculty of Arts, Department of Communication and Information. The campaign has been very popular and successful amongst the hospital visitors, patients, medical professionals and staff members from various departments.
The exhibition covered several topics on Alzheimer's disease awareness, its diagnosis and causes, in addition to the symptoms, its stages and methods of prevention as well as how to deal with the patient. Leaflets, pamphlets and guidelines have been distributed by the Alzheimer's Association, that highlight more advice and information about the disease.
