Conducting research is part of NGHA plan in advancing science and knowledge in different disciplines such as medical, administrative, social and informatics researches related to the medical services provided at NGHA.
King Abdullah’s International Medical Research Center Research Award was found to honor experienced physicians, scholars and researchers as well as beginners in the field of research. The dean of King Saud University for Health Sciences and CEO of NGHA, Dr. Abdullah Al Rabeeah stated that this award is not exclusive to medical research but extends to honor many different fields of research.
Dr. Abdullah said that NGHA focuses on research as an important pillar in advancing intellect and knowledge of the researchers, which lead to allocate this annual award. This award is considered the first of its kind in the kingdom. Researchers have the right to nominate themselves to participate in this award which gives them the opportunity to present their papers.
The award has three categories; the first category is Senior Researcher Award which is for researchers who have spent more than 15 years conducting research and scientific activities. The second is Award Researcher which is for those who are not subjected to the first prize criteria of research experience. The third is Young Researcher Award which involves junior researchers who are less than 35 years old.
Dr. Abdullah invites researchers to participate in this award and submit their papers to King Abdullah Medical Research Center, at King Saud University for Health Sciences in Riyadh.
