King Abdullah International Medical Research Center (KAIMRC) -King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences (KSAU-HS) is pleased to announce the commence of the admission for the third batch of The Masters in Bioethics for the academic year 1433-1434 H corresponding 2012-2013 G- Batch 3.
Program Objectives:
To address the ethics of medical practice and biological research in a systematic, academic approach;
To consolidate the Islamic perspective of medical ethics and conceptualize the scope of its paradoxes and compatibilities with pertinent international guidelines;
Investigating a spectrum of major current and future ethical medical dilemmas and setting vision for dealing with them;
Setting trends for thought on the relationship between the medical establishment and the public that draw on Islamic teachings and run in line with international guidelines.
Registration Date:
The registration will start from Saturday 17/11/1432 H to Wednesday 05/01/1433 H (corresponding with 15/10/2011G until 30/11/2011G).
Starting Date:
The program will start on 16/03/1433 H corresponding to 08/02/2012G.
Admission Requirements:
Saudi citizen.
For non-Saudi, engaged in a scholarship program.
Bachelor Degree in Health Sciences from accredited university.
Three (3) years experiences in any health field of work after completion of BSc degree.
GPA not less than 3.75 out of 5.
Score of 550 in TOEFL exam or 6 in IELTS exam.
Medically fit and No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the employer (preferably, working on a part-time basis).
Three (3) recommendation letters.
Pass the aptitude test.
Pass personal interview.
