Imam Abdulrahman bin Faisal Hospital - Dammam in collaboration with the Department of Protocol and Relations organized the the (Blood Donation Campaign) which was launched by HRH Prince Mishaal bin Badr bin Saud bin Abdulaziz, Deputy of the National Guard in the Eastern Region at the Officers' Club in King Fahd Residential City, MNGHA, Dammam.
Dr. Ahmad Al Arfaj, Executive Regional Director of MNGHA, Eastern Region, said that HRH’s initiative to donate had a deep impact towards the donors and the organizers of this event.
He explained that "this campaign is to emphasize the importance of blood donation in saving lives, and to emphasize our duty towards patients.
General Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Mufez, Deputy Assistant of Military System in NG, Eastern Region had also donated while praising the "great organization that was reflected in the smooth flow of the donation process".
Dr. Ahmed Shuaibi, Deputy Regional Executive Director of MNGHA in Imam Abdurrahman bin Faisal Hospital, said that "the response of MNGHA employees was wonderful, which is not surprising from the men of National Guard both civilians and military.
This campaign is to provide a sufficient stock for the blood bank, to meet the growing demand, and the campaigns are to raise the level of awareness towards blood donation culture and its supreme mission.
