Family Medicine and Primary Health Care Centre in Prince Mohammed Bin Abdul Aziz Hospital – AlMadinah (PMBAH) in collaboration with Ministry of Health represented by public health, and Department of Combating Chronic and Genetic Diseases through the National Program for Breast Cancer early detection and with the participation of voluntary associations for cancer patients have held the activities of Breast Cancer awareness Day under the slogan “Early detection is life “.
This awareness campaign aims to enhance the health awareness of the society about breast cancer; its causes and how to avoid it. It also aims to announce the health centers that provides early screening at Al Madinah.
The breast cancer campaign included an exhibition with several educational and awareness corners that targeted females to aware them about the symptoms of breast cancer and the latest methods to deduct it and how is early deduction could help in increasing the healing percentage. The exhibition has received great number of visitors. The campaign participants presented gifts and broachers to the visitors and answer all their questions.
