Represented by Primary Healthcare Center; Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Hospital, National Guard’s Health Affairs in Madinah celebrates the World International Breastfeeding Awareness Week on Wednesday, August 28, 2019. The event aims to support and encourage breastfeeding and highlight its importance and benefits to mother and baby.
Dr. Sumaya Al Sharif, Director of the Center inaugurated the event and delivered a speech on the importance of breastfeeding, gifts and recognition certificates were presented to some of the committed mothers to breastfeeding for 6 months. Additionally, educational lectures were held to mothers present at the center regarding breastfeeding and its importance for mother, child, and society and answering all their queries about breastfeeding.
