As keeping pace with the latest global developments in the field of medicine and meeting the medical need of the Ministry of National Guard–Health Affairs’ employees in Al Madinah in particular, and people in Al Madinah in general, Prince Mohammed Bin Abdul Aziz Hospital – Al Madinah (PMBAH) launched Cardiac Care Unit (CCU) last week with a capacity of 10 beds.
It is worth to mention that it is the latest specialized cardiac care unit where Utilities and Maintenance Department and Projects Missions with the participation of the Clinical Engineering and Respiratory Services Departments have successfully established it with the latest equipment at the highest engineering and medical standards adopted globally by including national workforce who have high qualifications.
Moreover, Executive Director of Operations in PMBAH, Dr. Mansour Al Othman, Deputy Executive Director of Operations in PMBAH, Mr. Mansour Al Askar, Deputy Executive Director of Medical Services, Dr. Tarik Khashoggi and the departments’ directors in PMBAH attended the launching as PMBAH is considered a unique hospital in regard to providing excellent intensive care services in four different specialties at Al Madianah region. Also, the hospital is currently equipped with 10-bed Adult Intensive Care Unit, 10-bed Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, 8-bed Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and 10-bed Cardiac Care Unit, so it is considered the largest hospital in Al Madinah region in terms of the variety of intensive care specialties provided by high qualified health care providers.
In addition, Dr. Mansour Al Othman expressed his great happiness at the rapid development of PMBAH, stressing that this is not strange to the MNG-HA’s facilities which receive continuous support from all the officials in the MNG-HA and from the hospital’s departments. Last but not least, he pointed out that the positive impact of this development will be noticeable in the near future at the level of health care received by the MNG-HA’s staff in Al Madinah in particular and the people in Al Madinah in general.
