A number of Saudi doctors participated in a cardiac catheterization conference held in Washington, DC from the 12th to 18th of September 2014. This conference is considered one of the largest annual cardiac catheterization conferences in the world, attended by over 12,000 participants.
The main lecture earned the audience’s attention which was presented by King Abdulaziz Medical City and Associate Professor at the King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences (KSAU-HS), Dr. Muhammad Al Baraki on how to treat advance cases in the elderly through lacerated aortic valve catheterization.
The audience was impressed with the treatment methods of treating such cases in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as well as the level of advanced medicine in the hospitals and the highly skilled medical personnel especially in diagnosing and treating heart diseases and valves.
