The Ministry of National Guard - Health Affairs in the Eastern Region celebrated the Nursing week in collaboration with all the nursing staff from both
King Abdulaziz hospital - AlAhsa and
Al Imam Abdulrahman bin Faisal - Dammam through recreational and cultural activities along with scientific competitions.
Dr. Ahmad Al Arfaj, the Regional Executive Director of the Ministry of National Guard -Health Affairs in the Eastern Region pointed out that: ‘We hold this celebratory occasion to honor and mark the nurses contribution to patients services”.
In this special occasion, the Nursing Department organizes recreational, cultural and scientific programs for a whole week.
Dr. Al Arfaj clarified that NGHA staff seek to participate in international and national events including the International Nurses Week.
All activities prepared for the event are directly related to the health field. They are an opportunity to increase the nursing staff’s awareness to positively reflect on the service provided to patients. Moreover, during the event the NGHA holds training sessions and workshops.
Moreover, the organizing committee presented several awards for exceptional sections and outstanding nurses in addition to the scientific research proposed by the nursing staff, proving the high level of education and culture of the nursing staff at NGHA.
