Family Medicine and Primary Health Care Centre in Prince Mohammed Bin Abdul Aziz Hospital – AlMadinah (PMBAH) celebrated the World Quality Day 2016 through a series of events and awareness and educational lectures, which aims to raise quality culture among the center’s staff members.
Executive Director of Medical Services, Medical Services, Dr. Walid Al Yafi inaugurated the commencement of the event in addition to the Deputy Executive Director of Medical Services, Dr. Tarik Khashoggi. The ceremony, that included six lectures covering all quality aspects such as, global objectives for patients safety, performance improvement standards, the continuity of care through "BESTcare" program, how to professionally deal with the reporting system, clinical risk management and last but not least sterilization.
At the end of the ceremony, the center’s acting Manager Dr. Turki Almutiri, Family and Community medicine Consultant honored the team responsible for the application of JCI standards in the Family Medicine and Primary Health Care Centre – Almadinah, for their efforts on behalf of the Executive Director of Medical Services, Medical Services, Dr. Walid Al Yafi.
