His Royal Highness Lieutenant–General Prince Meteb bin Abdullah, the Deputy Chief of the National Guard for Military Affairs, sponsors the Honor ceremony for pioneers and retirees on Sunday, January 10, 2010 at the National Guard Health Affairs in the Western region.
At the forefront of the pioneers who are being honored at the ceremony are Dr. Hassan Al-Muhammadi, Dr. Fathi Johari and Dr. Mohammad Hamzah Khusheem who had a huge role in the development and growth of medical services in the National Guard Health Affairs -Western region.
His Royal Highness Lieutenant–General Prince Meteb bin Abdullah also honored some of the NGHA - Western region employees who have been in the service of this medical institution for 20, 15 and 10 years. Moreover, a number of excellent medical programs will be awarded such as the diabetes prevention, home care, Princess Nourah Oncology Center and Hajj health care program.
Dr. Bandar Al Knawy, CEO of National Guard Health Affairs and President of King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences stated that the humanitarian gesture of His Royal Highness Lieutenant–General Prince Meteb bin Abdullah in honoring the pioneers, retirees and employees who have served the Health Affairs helps in laying the ground work for appreciating the efforts of those who provided outstanding services to develop this vast health facility. This event also confirms the continuous efforts of retirees to serve this country. Prince Meteb bin Abdullah’s recognition reflects the appreciation and gratitude to those pioneers in this integrated organization of hard work, morality and humanitarian values that present the characteristics of this community.
