Safety and Fire Management in Imam Abdulrahman Al Faisal Hospital, Dammam participated in the World Civil Defense Day 2019 activities. The event included a diverse exhibition, in which guidance and tips were shared. The Regional Executive Director of the Ministry of National Guard -Health Affairs in the Eastern Region, Dr. Ahmad Al Arfaj said: "Participants focused on the most important hazards that could occur at home, and homeowners negligent can potentially increase the risk associated with such hazards”.
The organizing committee reviled that most homes are complete without any fire extinguishers and some participants said. "A law should be enacted to oblige homeowners to have fire extinguishers, in addition to periodic inspection and training to minimize fire risks".
The event also included the Fire Unit in the National Guard in addition to the participation of King Fahad Residential City schools, where the students were trained on fire protection, fire prevention, and fire extinguishers.
