King Abdullah International Medical Research Center (KAIMRC) celebrated the graduation of the clinical research program fourth batch with the presence of HE Dr. Bandar Al Knawy, the Chief Executive Officer, National Guard Health Affairs, President, King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences (KSAU-HS) and General Supervisor, Royal Clinics where 19 participants were honored from inside and outside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The program’s duration was two semesters, the number of graduates were (73), (19) of which are graduates of the current batch, (22) graduates of the first batch, (12) of the second batch, and (20) graduates of the third batch.
During the ceremony, Dr. Bandar Al Knawy highlighted National Guard Health Affairs’s drive to develop the provided services due to the high interest in medical education and scientific research as important tools to achieve this progress, to reflect the importance of science and knowledge and to highlight their great role in the progress and the development of people. He added: "I am delighted to be a part of this graduation ceremony, which enhances the academic role of the National Guard Health Affairs through King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences and King Abdullah International Medical Research Center, and our passion to continue such events that contribute in raising the level of participants and increase their expertise in the medical research field, I also want to congratulate the participants and the graduates who represent both the health and research sectors in this blessed country and I wish them success to achieve their desired interests and benefits and practically utilize their knowledge from this program. "
For his part, Dr. Mohamed Juma’a, Executive Director of King Abdullah International Medical Research Center, described this program as a training activity and an important scientific event that aims to build the human element to spin the wheel of scientific research in health institutions, stressing that this program aims to equip and prepare the participants to carry out clinical research coordination, acquire the necessary skills to discuss and analyze research problems, acquire communication skills and administrative and clinical rehabilitation to conduct clinical research tasks. We congratulate all participants for their great efforts through their active participation in this program, which will raise their scientific, medical and research efficiency in the future. "
