A multi-disciplinary medical surgical team at King Abdul Aziz Hospital in Al-Ahsa has performed a complex surgery on a young man after being in a car accident that led to an inability to urinate and a complication of full urinary retention for six months along with a shattered pelvis.
The restoration surgery lasted for more than seven hours; the surgery was successful and the patient is now stable.
Without this surgery, the patient will not be living a normal life, and will suffer from an inability to urinate along with complications in his reproduction system. This surgery is considered one of the modern complex procedures with influential outcomes.
