
His Royal Highness Lieutenant–General Prince Meteb bin Abdullah the Deputy Chief of the National Guard for Military Affairs will launch the first international conference next Tuesday.
The conference will present new developments in anesthesiology and pain management which will be organized by the Anesthesiology Department in the National Guard Health Affairs – Riyadh and will be held in Makarim Hall in the Riyadh Marriott Hotel for three days starting from 31st of March until the 2nd of April.
Many international speakers from various anesthesiology branches will join the conference from the United States, Canada and Europe in addition to 64 local professors from different hospitals around the Kingdom.
More than 400 Saudi and Arab doctors will be participating in the conference from all over the Kingdom coming from the hospitals of the National Guard Health Affairs, the Armed Forces, the Ministry of Health and the Security Forces as well as university hospitals from Jeddah, Riyadh and Dammam. A group of consultants from private hospitals will also participate in the conference.
The conference will involve many workshops, new research, seminars and discussion groups for all anesthesiology braches and it will be spread throughout the conference days. Furthermore, several lectures and valued medical research will be held in separate halls to ensure that each specialist will benefit from the new advances and applications in the area of his expertise. This will contribute to increasing the benefits and to achieving the conference’s objective in introducing the audience to new developments and scientific interventions in the fields of anesthesiology and pain management and to taking advantage of the experienced local and international professors. It will also serve to demonstrate the NGHA’s wide experience in anesthesiology.
