King Abdullah International Medical Research Center is please to announce the commencement of the registration for the 5th Batch of Clinical Research Coordinator Training Course that has started since 11th of February until 28th March 2012. The classes will officially start on the 15th of September 2012 and will be conducted over a period of two semesters followed by a month of practical training at the King Abdulaziz Medical City.

Course objectives:

Prepare the applicant for coordinating clinical trials.
Provide the necessary skills to discuss and analyze related issues, such as content, confidentiality, patients' rights and other.
Address major loopholes in clinical trials via global standard qualified personnel capable of helping researchers.
Provide the necessary skills to deal with the public.
Educate on the core administrative and clinical capabilities to conduct clinical research.

For those interested to enroll in this course, the admission requirements are as follows:

Graduate of a Bachelor from a Saudi University or an accredited University in Health Sciences and other Applied Sciences;
GPA > 3.5 out of 5.
Passed English exam grades;
Passed personal interview;
Submit employer's written approval letter in case applicant is working (full-time not required);
Submit three recommendation letters;
Fully accomplished application form (attached herewith);
An updated CV with a copy of the diploma and transcript.

From now until Wednesday 28th March 2012 (05th Jumada’I 1433H) Registation Form

Course Duration:

The course will be conducted over two semesters followed by a month of practical training in King Abdulaziz Medical City.

The program is scheduled every first three days of the month and the four Thursdays of the month.

The module examination will be the last Thursday of the month.

Start date:

The course will start on Saturday 15th September 2012 (28th Shawwal 1433H)
