Academic Affairs and Continuous Medical Education in Imam Abdulrahman Al Faisal Hospital - Dammam, held a medical conference titled "Critical Care of At-Risk Newborns" for four days along with a workshop with an active participation from the Department of Pediatrics.
On this occasion, the Regional Executive Director of the Ministry of National Guard -Health Affairs in the Eastern Region, Dr. Ahmad Al Arfaj pointed out that this conference was held after a continuous series of conferences, seminars and activities that seek to share the latest studies in the medical field, to enrich the scientific expertise of our medical staff, which will be positively reflect on the patient services provided.
For his part, the Department of Pediatrics Head and neonatal consultant, Dr. Fahad Sufayan said that the conference covered the latest findings of modern medicine in regards to the special care of at-risk newborns by specialists from Canada. The conference was attended by a number of doctors, residents and healthcare workers from both government and private hospitals kingdom wideKingdom where the number of attendees exceeded 90 participants.
Dr. Sufayan also added that the importance of these conferences and workshops is the opportunity to be up to date with the latest findings worldwide, in order to provide the highest therapeutic services and patient care for our newborns.
It is noteworthy that the conference was accredited with 20 CME Hours by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties.
