In representation of Prince Mohammed Bin Abdulaziz Hospital, Primary Healthcare Center hosted the event of (Diabetes follow-up and treatment on primary healthcare basis) on Saturday 20th of April 2019 at the board room in the hospital with the presence and participation of a number of physicians and healthcare specialists.
The event included educational lectures regarding various aspects of Diabetes such as: the prevalence causes, the role of family physicians in caring and managing diabetes, type 2 diabetes and how to prevent it. Additionally, the lecture discussed the lifestyle management and medical nutrition therapy, obesity management for type 2 diabetes, cardiovascular disease and risk management, in addition to microvascular complications and diabetes & foot care.
The event was concluded by honoring a number of the hospital physicians for their efforts in diabetes awareness.
