King Abdulaziz Hospital, Al-Ahsa held the International Day of Disabled Persons, which is celebrated every year on the third of December in order to support people with disabilities and increase understanding and awareness of their issues.
The exhibition was titled “Priority For Them" and covered several sections of the hospital: the Physiotherapy department, Social Services, Nursing, Respiratory Therapy, and the hospital's Military Police Department, each explaining what it can offer to this precious group.
The Regional Executive Director of the Ministry of National Guard -Health Affairs in the Eastern Region, Dr. Ahmad Al Arfaj highlighted the importance of this awareness day and its positive impact on the hospital staff and visitors as well, and that the hospital seeks to meet the disabled persons needs and facilitate them by introducing them to their rights and the services allocated to them.
