
The Egyptian twins "Hasan and Mahmoud” leave the Kingdom on Friday May 29, 2009 after undergoing a separation procedure in the National Guard Health Affairs- Riyadh under the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz on Saturday February 28, 2009.
The twins left the pediatric unit last Wednesday May 27, 2009 after fully recovering. They were seen off by Dr. Saadi Taher, the Executive Director of Medical Services and Sami Shaalan, the Director of Public Relations and Media Affairs.
“Hasan and Mahmoud” arrived in King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh on Tuesday February 10, 2009 from Egypt under the patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz who directed that the twins and their parents be welcomed and to arrange all the necessary examinations in KAMC – Riyadh.
His Excellency the Minister of Health and the head of the medical and surgical team Dr. Abdullah Al-Rabeeah praised the humanitarian initiative from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques. Dr. Bandar Al Knawy, the Chief Executive Officer of the NGHA and the President of King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences, commended the directions of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques who continues to support humanitarian areas regardless of religion and race as it is demonstrated in his efforts regarding conjoined twins.
