HRH Prince Mitib bin Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz, Minister of the National Guard, visited King Abdulaziz Medical City in Riyadh on Sunday October 12, 2014. HRH conveyed the greetings of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to all staff members of the National Guard Health Affairs on the advent of Eid Al Adha.
HRH Prince Mitib also extended his congratulations on the success of this year’s pilgrimage season, noting that the Government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques was fully dedicated to serve the pilgrims through giant projects and major expansions which contributed in facilitating the pilgrimage and ensuring the safety of all pilgrims and visitors.
Furthermore, HRH pointed out the complementary and continuous efforts of all sectors and ministries, including the Ministry of the National Guard which is honored to serve the pilgrims in collaboration with all sectors in charge of security, regulation, medical treatment or cultural awareness.
Upon his arrival, HRH was received by HE Dr. Saad Al Mehrij, Chief Medical Officer – NGHA, alongside department heads and officials. A meet-and-greet session was then held with NGHA staff in Dr. Sameer Bin Huraib Auditorium in KAMC - Riyadh. Staff members in Jeddah, Dammam, Al-Ahsa and Al Madinah joined in via satellite.
At the beginning of the meet-and-greet session, HRH carried out the acknowledgement of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, to all NGHA employees for their unremitting and continuous efforts towards their humanitarian and professional duty. HRH also praised their dedication and devotion which played a large part in the Health Affairs (represented by the Ministry of National Guard medical cities’ hospitals and centers) to become a source of pride not only locally but at a global scale.
Moreover, from King Abdulaziz Medical City - Jeddah via satellite, HE Dr. Bandar Al Knway, CEO of NGHA and President of KSAU-HS, addressed a speech where he welcomed HRH Prince Mitib on behalf of all NGHA and expressed their pleasure for the meeting. Dr. Al Knawy also added that such gatherings contribute to the strengthening of the staff’s moral and have a positive impact in delivering optimal services to the nation.
After the meeting, an open discussion between HRH, NGHA officials and staff in Riyadh and the rest of the regions commenced.
