Executive Director of Operations in National Guard Health Affairs- Western Region, Colonel Engineer Khalid Bakulka, launched yesterday the Enteroanastomosis Awareness Day medical exhibition organized by the Department of Surgery at King Abdulaziz Medical City in Jeddah.
The exhibition was organized by several departments including: Surgery, Nutrition, Health Education, Religious Affairs and Nursing to educate patients on how to take care procedure and the needed arrangements so that they can cope with it in their daily lives.
Dr. Kalid Resini, Colorectal Surgery Consultant, Section Head General Surgery said that enteroanastomosis surgery is not painful and the patient can live normally after surgery.
Sarah Bagazi, an enteroanastomosis specialist, added that enteroanastomosis is a new specialty and there is need for more experts in the field.
