Under the auspices of Dr. Mohamed Al Zahrani - Executive Director Medical Services- Western Region, National Guard Health Affairs, the 5th Annual Family Medicine Conference opening began on Sunday 31 of March at King Abdul-Aziz Medical City- Jeddah in collaboration with King Saud bin Abdul-Aziz University for Health Science.
The International Family Medicine Conference and Exhibition (IFM) are exclusively dedicated to family physicians, their contribution to healthcare services and the way forward for community health. It draws together experts, physicians and researchers aiming to highlight the importance of family medicine, and promote the standards of curative and preventative healthcare through continuous information sharing.
The 5th Conference of IFM witnessed the participation of more than 50 professional speakers in a number of scientific sessions that will improve public health and address chronic diseases. The conference’s agenda of IFM this year included 15 workshops. Moreover the conference addressed the most critical healthcare topics, such as chronic diseases, common diseases in pediatric, OB/GYN diseases, surgical cases assessment, dealing with emergency and trauma and last updates.
