In representation of Prince Mohammed Bin Abdulaziz Hospital, Family Medicine & Medical Education departments celebrated the family medicine day 2019 on Wednesday at the conference room with the presence of Dr. Walid Al Yafi, Executive Director, Medical Services, and the participation of a number of department heads and specialized medical department chairmen.
The organizing departments hosted a celebration with the attendance of physicians and specialized personnel in family medicine and community healthcare.
The events included some lectures that could be of interest to all healthcare providers such as: “how to treat diabetic patients during Ramadan”, in addition to the open discussions of the latest news in family medicine care. The organizing departments had also celebrated the separation of Family Medicine Program as an independent program at National Guard’s health affairs.
The events were concluded with honoring the supervisor of the joint program of family medicine and the trainers of National Guard’s health affairs for their contribution in training National Guard’s staff of family physicians.
