His Royal Highness, Prince Miteb bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, Minister of National Guard launched the Family Safety Day Website on Sunday, November 8th , 2015 for the upcoming Family Safety Day and the family role in rejecting violence and terrorism under the slogan “Your family is Your Safety” which will be held from the 18th till the 24th of November 2015. The launching ceremony was attended by Mr. Abdul Mohsen Al-Tuwaijri, National Guard’s Deputy Minister along with members of the higher organizing committee, which include the Ministry of Interior, Ministry of Justice, Ministry of Social Affairs, the Ministry of Culture and Information, the Ministry of Education, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the General Presidency for Youth Welfare, and the Human Rights Commission, in order to confirm the role of the family in rejecting violence and terrorism, while promoting peace and tranquility within families.
After that, Prince Miteb listened to a brief given by Chief of the organizing committee, H.E. Chief Executive Officer of Ministry of National Guard - Health Affairs, Dr. Bandar Al Knawy about the importance of the website in defining and highlighting the objectives and activities of Family Safety Day, along with providing information and scientific studies for researchers, affirming the family role in achieving security and living in peace and harmony.
Furthermore, His Royal Highness, Prince Miteb bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, Minister of National Guard expressed his wishes that these conjoined efforts would pay off in in achieving the goals and objectives of Family Safety Day, and to confirm the positive role of the family in the society protection and safety from violent and extreme ideas. H.R.H also extended his gratitude to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdul Aziz for appointing the Ministry of National Guard as Family Safety Day Organizers, stressing that this event does not concern the Family Safety Program or the Ministry of National Guard alone, but extends to be a national program to renounce violence and terrorism, while promoting the family role of with the participation of all sectors, in delivering that role and incorporating it in the upbringing of their children, protecting them from violence, and preventing them from becoming tools exploited against their homeland, religion and their families.
