His Royal Highness Prince Miteb bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, Minister of National Guard will sponsor the ceremony for laying the foundation stone for King Salman bin Abdulaziz Specialist Hospital in Taif, on Wednesday the 9th of September 2015.
H.E. Chief Executive Officer of Ministry of National Guard - Health Affairs explained that the patronage of HRH Prince Miteb to lay the foundation stone for King Salman bin Abdulaziz Specialist hospital in Taif is an extension to the care enjoyed by the citizens by our wise leadership, pointing out that the achievements of the health sector at the Ministry of National Guard oversees the nation, stressing that the wheel of development does not stop in this sector, which contribute significantly in the Kingdom’s medical field, he said that this medical edifice is the culmination of health services in this country, it will provide specialized health care for employees of the Ministry of National Guard and their families.
He pointed out that King Salman Specialist Hospital located approximately 15 km from the south-west of the Taif’s airport. The hospital is designed to provide specialized health care for patients, longer hospital integrated health facility with bed capacity of 308 beds total area estimated 82,650 square meters, as His Excellency pointed out that the hospital consists of:
First, the medical tower, which consists of 8 floors that include:
236 beds distributed through the ward
72 beds for Intensive Care
44 bed Emergency Department
8 Operating Theaters
12 chairs for dialysis
10 Recovery Rooms
19 Rooms for Short Stay
Second, floors designated for treatment and diagnosis. Third, wards designated for Outpatient clinics contains 54 examination room.
Moreover, it is worth mentioning that King Salman Specialist hospital will provide excellent medical services using the latest technology in a variety of fields.
The design, also, included an integrated residential area adjacent to the Medical Center to support the workers and consists of: Villas, men housing area, ladies housing area, family housing complexes, the mosque, parks, an entertainment center, a shopping center, a kindergarten and an administrative building.
