His Royal Highness Prince Miteb bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, Minister of National Guard sponsored Laying the foundation stone for King Salman bin Abdulaziz Specialist Hospital in Taif on Wednesday, the 9th of September 2015.
His Royal Highness was received by His Highness Prince Mohammed bin Mansour bin Jalawi, Deputy Minister of National Guard Abdul Mohsen Bin Abdulaziz Al Tuwaijri, H.E. Chief Executive Officer of Ministry of National Guard - Health Affairs, President of King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences and General, Dr. Bandar Al Knawy, along with a number of officials and chairpersons of the Ministry of National Guard – Health Affairs.
The ceremony was commenced with a recitation from the Holy Qura’an, followed by a speech giving by H.E. Chief Executive Officer of Ministry of National Guard - Health Affairs, President of King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences and General , Dr. Bandar Al Knawy in which he said "I on behalf of the employees of the National Guard - Health Affairs , I would like to extend my sincere appreciation and gratitude to His Royal Highness Prince Miteb bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, Minister of National Guard for sponsoring this ceremony and for his continuous support for the projects of the Ministry of National Guard - Health Affairs, King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences (KSAU-HS) and King Abdullah International Medical Research Center (KAIMRC).
Today, we celebrate laying the foundation stone for King Salman bin Abdulaziz Specialist Hospital in response to the increasing number of patients and the level of medical conditions that are transferred for micro-medical specialties”.
Furthermore, H.E. pointed out that the health services at the Ministry of National Guard went through several stages during the period of time, starting with primary health care centers leading up to the establishment of hospitals and medical cities contributing to the development of the health care field in our dear country.
After that, His Royal Highness and the attendees reviewed a visual presentation of King Salman bin Abdulaziz Specialist Hospital project presented by Engineer Abdulrazaq Al Dubayan, MNG-HA Project Management Executive Director .
Then, His Royal Highness Prince Miteb bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, Minister of National Guard delivered a speech in which he said, "in this blessed day, I am pleased to lay the foundation stone for King Salman bin Abdulaziz Specialist Hospital in Taif, which will become a specialized health edifice which will meet the needs following the highest standards of quality service to our homeland and the citizens".
Finally, His Royal Highness Prince Miteb was presented with a commemorative plaque in addition to saying a display model of the project.
