The Swedish Trade and Investment Council headed by H.E. Lena Furmark, State Secretary, Ministry of Health and Social Affairs visited King Abdulaziz Medical City in Riyadh today as part of a tour to some of the Kingdom’s health institutions and met with its senior members.
They were received by Dr. Saad Al Mohrij, Chief Medical Officer.
H.E. Dr. Bandar Al Knway, the Chief Executive Officer, National Guard Health Affairs, President, King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences gave the opening remarks followed by Dr. Saad Al Mohrij and Mr. Abduallah Al-Ammari, the Chief Operating Officer. Other department representatives gave an overview of their scope of service.
The delegation seeks to discuss with the National Guard Health Affairs methods of joint cooperation and exchange of experiences in the fields of science, research, training and workforce development.
The Ministry of Health and Social Affairs in Sweden is responsible for areas concerning community welfare including illness, family, medical care and health promotion.
There were 40 members of the council in attendance with them was H.E. Dag Juhlin-Dannfelt the Swedish Ambassoder to Saudi Arabia.
