King Abdulaziz Medical City - Riyadh (KAMC-R) was visited by two European delegations and received by H.E. Dr. Saad Al Mehrij, Chief Medical Officer of the Ministry of National Guard - Health Affairs.
The delegation of the Czech Republic led by the Czech Deputy Health Minister visited KAMC-R on May 18th, 2014 as well as the German delegation led by the German Deputy Health Minister, visited King Abdulaziz Medical City - Riyadh on May 20th, 2014.
Both delegations were in the Kingdom attending the Saudi Health 2014 Exhibition held from the 19th until 21st of May 2014 in the Riyadh International Convention & Exhibition Center (RICEC).
During their visit to the Medical City, the delegations were given a detailed explanation of the Ministry of National Guard - Health Affairs achievements and future goals. Both Deputies expressed admiration for the accomplishments and expressed a desire for future cooperation and exchange of medical expertise and health services experiences.
Dr. Al Mehrij welcomed strengthening the bonds of cooperation which will benefit the citizens and the country alike.
The delegation concluded their visit after touring King Abdulaziz Medical City and visiting several departments in the hospital including the Cardiac Center, ICU and Radiology.
