Prince Mohammad Bin Abdulaziz Hospital (PMBAH), Al Madinah Al Munawwarah celebrated on Sunday, 13 March, 2016, Gulf Nurses Day 2016 with the participation of many patients and visitors of the hospital. Mr. Mansour Al Askar, Deputy Executive Director of Operations, PMBAH commenced the ceremony activities, which was held in the hospital’s main lobby.
Furthermore, more than 100 nurses, representing more than 12 nursing specialized departments in PMBAH, have participated in Gulf Nurses Day exhibition which included more than 12 awareness and entertaining corner.
In addition, the exhibition witnessed a large number of visitors from hospital’s staff and visitors who participated in the activities which included remarkable and creative ideas along with historical and scientific competitions. Also, there were many prizes presented to winners and participants.
During ceremony inauguration, Mr. Al Askar was accompanied by a number of operations and medical directors led by Ahmad Alabdulkarim, Director of Administrative Affairs, Kathryn Klima, Director of Clinical Nursing and Manager of Public Relations and Media Affairs Mr. Anas Jan.
Twoards the end of the ceremony, Mr. Al Askar presented Excellence Awards for the best three corners based on the evaluation of the organizing committee for Gulf Nurses Day Exhibition.
The corner of Labor And Delivery Nursing Department received the first place award, then the award for second place went to Surgery and Internal Medicine Nursing Department’ corner while Gynecology Nursing received the third place award.
