Prince Mohammad Bin Abdulaziz Hospital (PMBAH), Al Madinah Al Munawwarah celebrated on March 12, Gulf Nurses Day 2015 with the participation of many patients and visitors of the hospital. Dr. Mansour Al Othman, Executive Director of Operations, PMBAH commenced the ceremony activities, which was held in the hospital’s main lobby, by cutting the ceremony opening ribbon.
Furthermore, more than 100 nurses, representing more than 12 nursing specialized departments in PMBAH, have participated in Gulf Nurses Day exhibition which included more than 12 awareness and entertaining corner.
In addition, the exhibition witnessed a large number of visitors from hospital’s staff and visitors who were eager to participate in the activities which included remarkable and creative ideas along with historical and scientific competitions. Also, there were many prizes presented to winners and participants.
During ceremony inauguration, Dr. Al Othman was accompanied by a number of operations and medical directors led by Deputy Executive Director of Medical Services, Prof. Tariq Khashuggi, Deputy Executive Director of Operations, Mr. Mansour Al Askar and Associate Executive Director ofNursing Services, Ms. Amirah Amatullah.
Twoards the end of the ceremony, Dr. Al Othman presented Excellence Awards for the best three corners based on the evaluation of the organizing committee for Gulf Nurses Day Exhibition.
The corner of Outpatient Nursing Department received the first place award, then the award for second place went to Nursing Education corner while Hemodialysis Nursing received the third place award.
