In the presence of Dr. Mohammed Al-Zahrani, Executive Director of Medical Services –WR and Mr. Abdulaziz AL Harazi, Acting Executive Director Operations - WR along with other departments’ directors and participants in Hajj Mission, King Abdulaziz Medical City-Jeddah celebrated the success of Hajj Mission for the Year 1440H.
The ceremony started with reading from the Qur’an, followed by a visual presentation of Health Affairs mission during Hajj. After that, the operational supervisor, Mr. Jaber Al Subaie explained the process and preparations of the mission through multiple departments.
For example, The logistics services department prepared nearly 500 items (medical, pharmaceutical and stationeries) and 400 Beds prepared to accommodate worker/staff, The Maintenance Team provided maintenance for buildings and electrical works, A/C, and regular check on medical equipment, among other participating departments.
Then, Dr. Bandar Al Amari the Medical Supervisor, mentioned the statistics of Hajj Mission, he explained that the number of patients registered in clinics for outpatients reached (84.5%) 3246 patients, Admission reached (8.3%) 336 patients, Dental (3.7%) 152 patients, Dressing (3.5%) 141 patients.
After that, Dr. Alzaharni the Executive Director of Medical Services –WR stated that the successful completion of Hajj Mission was based on the effective contribution and cooperation of different medical teams and governmental sectors in order to provide comprehensive medical and health services.
