Prince Faisal Bin Salman Bin Abdulaziz Al SaudUnder the kind patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Faisal Bin Salman Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Governor of Madina Province; Prince Mohammed Bin Abdulaziz Hospital- National Guard health Affairs hosts the Middle East and North African Hematology Congress & the 8th Arab Hematology Congress in cooperation with a variety of governmental and private agencies during the period from 26 - 29 Jumada I 1440 H, corresponding to 1 - 4 February 2019 at the conference center of the University of Taiba in Madina, with the participation of more than 73 specialist and scientist and 62 appraiser around the world.

    For his part, the Chief Executive Director of Health Affairs at the Ministry of National Guard, Dr. Bandar Bin Abdulmohsin Al Knawy, praised the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Faisal Bin Salman Al Saud, Governor of Madina Province, for the conference's activities, which confirms his royal highness eagerness to support the development of healthcare. His excellency pointed out that the international conference targets scientists, researchers, all health practitioners, medical technology experts, medical students and all those interested in the latest developments in the field of blood diseases and its techniques, pointing out that Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Hospital at the National Guard Health Affairs in Madinah and the cooperating organizing bodies were keen to invite the world's leading speakers in the field, maintaining the universality and diversity of the scientific discussion.

The conference includes 123 lectures within 32 specialized scientific sessions, in addition to 3 specialized workshops. The first workshop targets patients with blood diseases and their families, while the second focuses on nursing staff specialized in caring for patients with blood diseases and the third workshop is concerned with workers in medical laboratories.

the 8th Arab Hematology CongressIt is worth mentioning that this Congress is a collaboration by a large number of specialized and academic national and international institutions , notably the Middle East and North Africa Federation of Hematology, The European Hematology Association (EHA), the Research Center of King Faisal Specialist hospital, Pan-Arab Hematology Association, International Society of Hematology (ISH), Saudi Stem Cell Society, Saudi Association of Blood Disorders, AL Madinah Hereditary Blood Disorders Charity Society, and Al Madinah center for hematological hematology at Maternity and Children Hospital, and King Abdulaziz University and University of Taibah.

The Congress aims to provide the opportunity for doctors, researchers, specialists and health practitioners to communicate and exchange experiences with their counterparts at the national and international levels to promote health care services in general and in blood diseases in particular, through discussing the latest developments and medical researchers in the field, and initiating the establishment of cooperative relations between specialized national and international institutions and centers.
