The Department of Military Field Medicine in King Abdulaziz hospital - A lAhsa conducted a training drill of which 32 were injured from a chemical laboratory explosion in a training procedure to determine the readiness of paramedics and medical staff.
The Regional Executive Director of the National Guard Health Affairs - Eastern Region, Dr Ahmad Al Arfaj said: "Such drills ready us to crises and allow us to measure the readiness of the hospital and its employees. It was conducted seriously - it didn’t feel like a training exercise.”
After the drill, committees hold a meeting to discuss the problems and recommend solution and highlight the achievements through watching videos and review the Monitoring Committee’s reports and recommendations.
