With the slogan “Vaccine for all life stages”, Infection Prevention and Control Program launched the annual Immunization Week 2019 by providing educational courses for HealthCare Providers which clarify the importance of vaccines and its positive influence on the health of people, due to the effective result of vaccines to control the spread of infectious diseases and to prevent the side effects.
The activities include an awareness day in Ambulatory Care Center in addition to the 5th Immunization Updates Course and Vaccine Preparation, Handling and Administration Course which discusses many topics such as the principles of immunization and types of vaccines, vaccines in pregnancy, travel vaccination, vaccines contradictions, and side effects.
