The Infection Prevention and Control Department in collaboration with the Postgraduate Training Center in King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences is conducting a seminar on the Middle East Respiratory Syndrome Corona Virus (MERS CoV) which will include preparedness plans based on current knowledge.
The activity aims to identify signs and symptoms that define a patient as a suspected MERS CoV case and to discuss current transmission pattern of MERS CoV. It will also discuss the need of and choose the most appropriate preventive measures.
The educational event will be held in the Deanship of Postgraduate Education building in the University from the 1st of June until the 5th of June. The seminar will last four hours every day from 8:30AM until 12:00PM. There is no fee for registration; however, early registration is encouraged.
