This activity aims to promote public awareness on AIDS/HIV, methods of transmission and educate the visitors about the rights of people living with AIDS/ HIV. An Individual with AIDS/HIV is an individual of the society who needs medical care with psychosocial support. He/she is still an effective and productive society member, especially after the advancements of treatment methods that control the disease and protect significantly from its complications. The spread of the disease in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is much lower than the prevalence rates in the world. Living with AIDS/HIV is not considered a stigma or predictability of death, but a chronic disease such as diabetes or hypertension which can be controlled with a course of a medical treatment and regular follow-ups.
