In the presence of His Excellency the Governor of the Communication and Information Technology, Dr. Abdulaziz Salim Al-Ruwais, King Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz Arabic Health Encyclopedia (KAAHE) received the “Digital Excellence Award” which was organized by the Communication and Information Technology Commission. Receiving such a prestigious award results from providing reliable Arabic health information in an effort to serve all the Arabic speaking audience around the world. The award ceremony was held on Wednesday, the 31st of August 2016, with the participation of a number of excellences, national leaders and pioneer smart projects leaders.
On behalf of H.E. Chief Executive Officer of Ministry of National Guard - Health Affairs, President of King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences, Dr. Bandar Al Knawy, MNG-HA’s Chief Operating Officer, Mr. Abdullah Al-Ammari received the Digital Excellence Award.
During the ceremony, an introductory film about Digital Excellence Award 6th edition, highlighting smart government projects, was presented. Following that was honoring the winners.
It is worth mentioning that King Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz Arabic Health Encyclopedia content includes educational materials in the fields of medicine, promotion of healthy diet and lifestyles, medical news and events, in addition to many interactive educational services.
