His Royal Highness, Prince Miteb bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, Minister of National Guard, will launch the KAIMRC 6th Annual Scientific Forum Activities today, Wednesday, the 9th of December 2015, the forum which will be held in the Convention Center - King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences - Riyadh is organized by King Abdullah International Medical Research Center (KAIMRC).
The forum will host a number of elite international speakers in the field of research, in addition to the participation of 2500 researcher and enthusiasts in the medical research field.
The Forum aims to be – a focal point - between decision-makers and clinical researchers, to further encourage collaboration by highlighting possible overlapping research areas and boost competition among researchers; it also targets scientists, clinical health and biomedical students in addition to research sponsors and administrators.
H.E. Chief Executive Officer of Ministry of National Guard - Health Affairs, Dr. Bandar Al Knawy has expressed his appreciation to Prince Miteb bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz for honoring this vital event.
In addition, Dr. Al Knawy stressed that organizing such event reflects the support given by Prince Miteb bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz for scientific research, and the attention that the Ministry of National Guard pays to this essential element which immensely contributes to the development of every nation.
Dr. Al Knawy also pointed out that KAIMRC which was inaugurated by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdul Aziz in the 21st of May 2015, strives to achieve the aspirations of the leadership in providing the highest standards of health care through advancement in the medical research in order to achieve patients safety and health sector development in the field of research.
Furthermore, he add that what characterizes this research center is the development, support and publishing of essential scientific research to fully recognize and apprehend health problems, then find solutions through basic quality research on both community and clinical levels, alongside providing modern computer technologies and molecular analysis laboratories to establish a creative research structure and achieve an effective partnership with both public and private sectors, with full commitment to Islamic principles and national and international ethical standards.
