His Excellency Brig. General Eng. Khalid Mohammad Bakulka, Executive Director of Operations, NGHA, Western Region is launching the World Health Day 2015 under the slogan "How Safe is Your Food?" today, the 13th of April 2015 at Dr. Abdulaziz Andejani Hall. This event is organized by King Abdulaziz Medical City - Jeddah and represented by the Health Education Department.
This international day’s program will discuss topics covering food safety and Health education through a selection of speakers from King Abdulaziz Medical City in Jeddah.
Furthermore, Professor Abdulaziz Al Harazi, co-CEO of Operations pointed out that awareness and education has become a global and national strategy that MNGHA accorded its greatest attention to due to their vital impact on the community.
In addition, Ms. Nada Al Zahrani, a Health Educator and the World Health Day coordinator clarified that this day will focus on food, its safety and storage, and how to read and understand food labels.
It is worth mentioning that a parallel educational forum will be held at the main entrance of ACC Building on Tuesday and Wednesday, April 14th – 15th, 2015 with the participation of many relevant departments.
Additionally, there will be an Awareness Exhibition on Thursday, April 16th, 2015 at the Specialized Primary Health Care Center (Formerly known: Al Waha Center).
