Parallel to The College of American Pathologists (CAP) Accreditation
Ministry of National Guard -Health Affairs celebrated the College of American Pathologists (CAP) Accreditation renewal for KAMC-R laboratories with the presence of H.E. Dr. Saad Al Mohrij, Chief Medical Officer, MNG-HA which is considered a new achievement, .
Recently, a scientific committee from The College of American Pathologists experts visited KAMC-R laboratories for the evaluation; subsequently, the committee approved the renewal of the CAP accreditation.
It is worth mentioning that KAMC-R laboratories has been accredited by The College of American Pathologists since 1986 and continued to adhere its strict standards ever since with a review every two years. Moreover, Blood Banks at KAMC-R was also reviewed by the American Association of Blood Banks (AABB) that renewed its accreditation.
Blood Banks at KAMC-R, MNG-HA are one of the largest in the area; and the international accreditations insure the MNG-HA’s commitment and adherence to present the highest standards of quality and patients care based on the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, the Crown Prince, the Deputy Crown Prince and His Royal Highness, Prince Miteb bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, Minister of National Guard.
