Social Service Department at King Abdullah Specialist Children's Hospital in collaboration with a number of charity associations and centers held an awareness forum on the 26th of January 2016 to educate the community about the charities and the services they provided to patients.
The event witnessed an active participation from the visitors where it involved a number of charity corners such as Zahra Breast Cancer Association, Saudi Charitable Association of Diabetes, Down Syndrome Charitable Association (DSCA), Sanad Children’s Cancer Support Association, Saudi Cancer Society, Disabled Children Association, Charitable Society of Autism Families, Charitable Health Society for Patients Care (ENAYAH), Committee for the Care of Inmates, the Released and Families (Trahum) and Child Care Association.
In addition, productive families from AlNahda Charitable Association showcased their products in this event along with the participation of several government agencies such as the Ministry of Social Affairs and the Ministry of Education.
