Social Service Department at King Abdullah Specialist Children's Hospital and under the supervision of a social worker Albandari AlShammari organized an entrainment activity for inpatient children at King Abdullah Specialist Hospital for Children, on Wednesday, the 5th of August, 2015 with collaboration of artist Ghada Alelsheikh and a number of volunteer students from King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences.
The activities included a variety of handcrafts, such as, coloring, painting and decorating some ready-made graphics, which will help in improving and developing the children's skills and talents. Moreover, this activity will help in distracting them from their illness. at the end of the event, gifts were distributed to the children.
In addition, the organizers are planning to re-organize such events and invent new ways to entertain the children and satisfy their desires to break their boredom.
