H.E. Chief Executive Officer of Ministry of National Guard - Health Affairs, President of King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences, Dr. Bandar Al Knawy supervised King Abdullah Specialist Children's Hospital’s Operation - Phase One at the Ministry of National Guard – Health Affairs on April 19th, 2015, along with a number of NGHA’s senior officials. Where it was announced that starting from the 19th of April 2015, Pediatric Clinic in King Abdulaziz Medical City - Riyadh will be moved toKing Abdullah Specialist Children Hospital building in King Abdulaziz Medical City - Riyadh.
Dr. Bandar Al Knawy received the first three transferred cases from King Fahd Hospital to King Abdullah Specialist Children's Hospital. In addition, he spoke with their families regarding their initial impression of the new hospital, including the state-of-the-art medical equipment while wishing them a speedy recovery. His tour included overseeing the sections and wings’ preparations to receive medical cases and to ensure an orderly and smooth operations.
Finally, Dr. Al Knawy concluded his tour by appraising the efforts of both the administrative and medical staff supervising at this stage, while encouraging them to continue providing all the necessary precautions to deliver all means of comfort to patients and to ensure the safety of children.
